Not all cities are visable after editing cities.txt
Hey all
I've edited my cities.txt to the cities that I want, and for some reason nto all of them are showing up. In fact most of them aren't. Any reason for why this would be at all?

Would you mind e-mailing the file to me so I can take a look at it, CC? Send it to erik@(removethis)ootpdevelopments.com
Thanks!

Did you update this prior to creating your league or after? The reason I ask is that I think changing these types of files can only be done before creating a league.

It was before creating the league that I was testing. It will load the first few cities, but not the majority.

About the cities, when manually entering them, if you put a city in the players page that exists in more than 1 state, it will only allow you to use some default city/state combination. Is there any way to make it so you can also put which state to use?

Heh. Your e-mail had been sent to my junkmail folder. I didn't know you had sent anything until your quoting implied it!
OK, I'm a novice with the cities.txt file, but here're some things I noticed: -I noticed that you have "city ,(pop)" while the default file has "city,(pop)" If there's not a specific reason for your spacing, you might want to normalize it. -Most of your cities don't have the proper location placeholders. You did it right to start, but then dropped the format (which could explain the first few showing up, and the others not, as you described). Since you're not using Lat/Long, each of your cities should either end with "(descriptor),," or just ",,," To pull an example out of your file: Xulfer Cirtsag ,2470000,240,Spaghetti Monster District should be changed to: Xulfer Cirtsag,2470000,240,Spaghetti Monster District,, And: canadiancreed ,1882000,238, Should be changed to: canadiancreed,1882000,238,,, And so on so that every city looks uniform. Try that and see if it helps.
