2977 - Little obscure PbP-bug
Just a little thing for the next patch
![]() I watched a game between two computer controlled teams, using one-pitch mode. The first batter was hit by a pitch. Instead of starting with the usual introductory text (team records, attendance and so on), the game announces the guy was hit and moves him to first. Then the game prints the introductory text, announcing the guy on first (who was just hit by a pitch) as a pinch runner. I am guessing the play-by-play was thrown off whack because the first thing that happened was a HBP. Maybe a little function call missing for that case? |

Eumel, that's a good catch. I've logged this as TT # 2977

FWIW, the HBP glitch where the runner is called "pinch runner" in the PbP, even though there was no substitution, is not tied to the beginning of the game. I just had this occur again: the PbP states that the hit batsman was replaced by a pinch runner although he wasn't.
