Crash

Hey,

Im using a modded quickstart. I sim to 6/17 and get an error that crashes the game. The error says: "Northern has no pitcher available." When I hit ok, it says "Game::No starter substitute found!", I hit ok and it says "No starting pitcher found!" I hit OK again, and it says "Southern has no pitcher available" , then the same error messages about game and no starting pitcher found. It then locks up with a repeating "Game::No staring substitute found".

It appears there is no starting pitcher for Northern or Southern. Problem is, I don't see those teams in the league. Any ideas?

Can you give some more detail about your created league? What do you mean by a "modded quick-start"?

This sounds like the all-star game, assuming you have subleagues called Northern and Southern...

Gotcha,

I thought about the all star game too, how do I go about editing the all star games? I am using a quick start that I downloaded from the community. It uses fictional players with modded images/logos/ballparks.

Was it a 2007 quick-start, or one from last year? Do you know the specific name of the file, or who craeted it?

I'm not quite sure what to do about the all-star game yet. We'll get there...

I have the same issue - quickstart: FictionalMLB2007.quick.

My error occurred on 6-15-07.

Well it's repeatable. I think it is the quickstart of FictionalMLB2007.quick. I even tried turning off the all-star game and it still errors out.

If anyone can think of a fix that would be great. Until them I need to find another quickstart...

I'm glad I only had a little time invested on this one.

Either DL that new file I made (which won't crash) or try the steps in post #12

This will fix it. Best to just start with the new one though if you don't have much time put into the lg. Sorry, I should have tested it better!!!
