Windowed mode: can we move the window?
First, thanks for adding all of the various possible window sizes into the windowed mode ... it is much appreciated!
Of course, now I have another question, since you've spoiled me: can we move the window, or is it fixed in the middle of the screen? I have a 1680x1050 monitor and would like to run it at 1440x900, pulled to the upper left of my screen, but the window always places itself dead center and won't move from there. I tried using a different resolution, but the problem remained. Don't suppose it matters, but just in case, running WinXP MCE SP2, latest version of game, FaceGen works fine, no other problems to speak of (except for lack of sleep from playing constantly since yesterday morning, outside of last night when I took the advice of an earlier thread and took my wife to dinner). |

I apologize for not being v.helpful here, but ...
I made it work a minute ago, but I don't know what I did, so I can't pass along anything useful to others. All of my other programs were closed (not including stuff that runs in the background, and Google Desktop Sidebar). I forgot I'd closed everything else, and I tried to alt-tab to another program. Nothing happened, BUT ... I was then able to move the windowed OOTP around. One thing for Markus to think about a few months from now when he has free time :-) ... I seem to have been missing the title bar previously, and now it's shown up. Of course, it's the title bar that allows us to move a window around. One last thing: running WindowBlinds XP. Most of this means nothing, and this is a very minor problem, but before I forget, I figured I'd add the above info. |
