HTML header overwritten

Hi, I created a custom Menu.jpg and Menu_wide.jpg. It worked great the first time I started up the game. I saved and exited and restarted later, and now my custom files have been overwritten with the defaults again.
Any thoughts on how to prevent this from happening?

Which directory did you place them in?

Hi, I placed them in the html/images directory under my saved game directory in the my documents folder.

Well, I tried it again, and the images were overwritten the next time I loaded the game.

The files are in Saved Game dir\news\html\images directory.

Not sure why the game would keep creating new default versions of these files.

there was a customization guide to html created by a beta tester but I don't know if it has been released for public consumption yet. I've posted a link to this thread in his thread on the beta forum about the guide so maybe he'll stop by and offer some advice. Otherwise, see if the manual has anything on customizing html in it.

Here's a link to the HTML customization guide I put together.
It doesn't specifically answer you questions, but following the steps in the guide will ensure that this doesn't happen.

I don't know why the game is overriding those files though.
