3209 - My entire pitching staff listed as SP?
I just finished my first season and free agency is about to start. So I was reviewing my pitching staff, and for some reason all my pitchers changed to starting pitchers, including my closer and middle relievers.
Anyone else seen this happen? I did a quick search on the board, but didn't see it mentioned. Last edited by edm; 03-28-2007 at 12:31 PM. |

I saw the reverse of this problem in beta testing where starters were all converted to middle relievers.
Can you tell me more about what kind of league (historical?) and what the endurance ratings are for your pitchers, whether you have player recalc on and whether you're using scouts?

It was an imported 2006 league from the Lehman Database. Scouts and coaches are disabled. All ratings are 1-10. 'Ratings based on players, not positions is enabled'. And Recalc is enabled.
Here's a screen shot I took. ![]() |

Go to the player profile of each pitcher, look at the real life stats tab and see if these players had any games started in 2006.
If you find any example where they had no games started, then this is a bug and we need to TT it for a patch. Let me know. I would be especially interested in knowing if the lowest endurance pitchers had any starts like Ryan Madson, Arthur Rhodes, Neal Cotts, and Fausto Carmona. (Surely Rhodes never started in real life 2006??)

Now reported as TT #3209 with a link to this thread. Please keep posting any more examples because this is the link that Markus will look at when trying to tweak.
