Can a historical league have a feeder league?

I created a historical league with AAA, AA, A teams. Ghost players. I tried to add a feeder league but all I get is an hour glass and I have to shut the program down. The screen stays the same. Did I do something that does not/is not supposed to work?

Cancel that.....it just takes 10 minutes to work. My feeder league has shown up.
