Scoreboard Issue After Patch

I am running a full install of the newest version on a Mac. There are no team names or numbers (scoring) in the scoreboard area during a SION Broadcast; there are only empty boxes where the information should be. I have tried several installations post-patch but to no avail. The scoreboard worked properly in the initial release version.

I also have the same issue. The scoreboard is blank. No text. So, you have no idea of the score, balls, strikes, number of outs, etc.

The "inning" (e.g. "Btm 7") shows up, as well as the inning headers, 1-9, but no other text.

I'm running the patched version on a PC (Vista).

Same here, I hope this gets quickly patched, as I play out my games, and the game is really unplayable I you cant see the scores easily. I'd remove the patch, but after all the issues with installing it on the Mac, I am hesitant to.

Can you try deleting the skin.bin file for your game, and then restarting the game?

This would be in, er, the Mac version of this folder:

C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\skins\ootp blue 2007

Is anyone NOT on a Mac experiencing this issue?

OK, I did that & it works fine now. That's on my PC version.

So, it looks like you've solved the mystery on both versions! Maybe you should sticky this issue, since many are bound to have it happen to them, no?
