Questions/Help on a "Fictional" Historical League
I've recently purchased OOTP2007 after a couple of years of not being able to play much and want to start a 'fictional' historical league.
The basic setup will be set in ~1956-57 and have the Pacific Coast League become a major league and be affiliated with a new major league, the "Southern League" The SL will be: Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta, Louisville, Birmingham, and Miami. I have made a list and affiliated A, AA, and AAA minor league teams with the 16 teams in the SL & PCL. A couple of questions I have: 1. Is there a player database anywhere of PCL players out there? 2. How tough would it be to manually "import" a certain % of rookies from the Lahman database each year? I was thinking of having ~ 5-20% of the rookies from the Lahman database. Any other suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks. |

1. The databases I have seen are built on the Lahman database
2. Um...you could take the Lahman database and randomly pick 20% of rookies for each year. It's not something for the average Joe, though. So, you're going to affiliate a major league with another major league?
