Computer AI changing my major league lineup at start of game?
Why does this happen?? I've got depth charts set. Backups only set to play if a starter tired. But the computer keeps subbing for my 2b, and when I go to play my game, I have to insert my 2b. This is at the major league level of a fictional leauge.

Are you the manager? If so, do you have the option set for you to control lineups, depth charts, etc.?

Which version of the game are you using? If you aren't using the final second patch (2.0.2.53), could you upgrade and let us know if you see the same behavior?

I am having the same issue, I have it set for control lineups, my depth chart is set and everything. Just got the patch 2.02 final so I will see if that helps. It only started after about 16 games into the seaons. I am playing a historical league.

Didn't make a difference updating to the new file. I think it might have something to do if a player is tired. I had one player tired and he was out of the lineup. Hmm weird that this just started 16 games into the season. Please help!!

To make certain, have you changed both your depth charts and your lineups? Changing one won't automatically change the other. Are you also certain that you are editing the correct depth chart/lineup combination? If you are playing with DHs, make sure that you are editing your DH lineup/depth charts both against RHP and LHP.

I've mentioned this in another thread, but just in case. Make sure you don't have your 7-Day Lineups marked Yes, Use them. And if you do, make sure you have auto-filled those lineups so that they will match your designations in the lineup/depth areas. The game will default to the 7-Day page if you have that checked, regardless of your lineup page if they differ.

Siv, are you certain that you are having the same issue as the original poster? Tired players are supposed to be rested as long as their backups in the depth charts are set to start when they are tired. You want to rest your tired players or else they begin to play at an impaired level and become more prone to injury.

I think i figured it out, but it is still misleading. When you have it set to play ever # of days it does this irregardless of when you have the option set. I read it wrong and now I know what to do. Thanks all.
