Historical leagues and AI teams
I started an historical league (year 2004) using Lahman database and i'm loving the game. What i find odd is the way the AI sometime manages the other teams. For example, i see the Cardinals using Isringhausen non as a closer but as a set-up man or the Braves still using Smoltz as a closer and not as a starter. How do you feel about it? Is there a way to 'force' the AI manager to stick to the historical way the players were used? Or all of this doesn't bother you at all?
Thanks, Gerry |

If you are using the yearly modifiers, then they should switch between SP and RP when they change, but only when it is obvious to the AI that he was a closer.
Sometimes the AI will not use the historical if it thinks that said player is a better closer than what was used historically.
