Name / Age / Everything Changed

Ok, wierdest thing I've seen so far with 2007. I have the latest patch. I offered a contract to a 27 year old SP who was really good (63 of 80 compared to MLB). My scout found him while scouting Mexico. I offered a contract to him. 1 year, $1,000,000. This was a coupla days before the end of the calendar year. I have the game auto save every month. I offered this contract and hit the sim until pre-season begins. After the year ended and the save was finished the player profile that was open changed. My contract that I offered was gone and now the guy is a 19 Year old SP who would accept a minor league contract but just as good. When I right click on the original email (stating that he's 27 and such) the name is obviously different from the one I just right clicked and look at the profile that is opened (age is 19, not 27 as the email states.

Anyone seen this before? I'm backing up the league file now so I can submit it to someone.

Quick history. I simmed 30 years to get some history in the league. at the end of the 30th season (before post season started) I created a new manager and made myself GM of the Orioles. Then started my work of being GM.

The game probably reused the player ID number for some reason. Does Dominguez still exist? Can you search for him (upper right corner of the screen)?

Can you check the player history of both players for us (assuming that you can find both)? Is there anything there to suggest that the one player turned into the other?

Dominguez does not exist and I cannot find any proof that he became different. Nothing in news, history, etc. Wierd. Btw, he sucks now, 20 / 20 (Rat / Tal) As soon as he got to spring training, he fell off the face of the earth in ratings.

Did you delete that news message yet? Could you FTP us a zip file of the .dat files from your league and let us know what the file name is per the instructions in the link below?
