mac version doesn't work after patch
Here's my history: downloaded the game a couple days ago. I have a Mac, running most recent version. It ran fine for a few days, including several times saving/closing/starting up again. Then at some point when I started the program, it would not let me reload my game, saying something like "the save file is corrupted or from an earlier version," though I had changed nothing. After a few times of this, I downloaded the patch. Since then, the program will not even open. It begins to boot, but then closes just when the first game screen would normally open. Please help.

Sometimes you see the error "the save file is corrupted or from an earlier version," after you change the name of the .lg file, and still try to open the game with "continue" button, but probably in this case, it is not the reason of the crash. Did you patch the right one? It is not the Demo Patch, is it? Make sure on the start screen on your left bottom corner. myasu

I suggest you uninstall the current version and then re-install the latest full version. This does also include the patches. You will not lose your leagues because they will not be overwritten. Don't use the "Continue game" button then, but the "Load game" button.

The blinking that you're seeing on Mac after patching is a common issue - happened to me and several others. In my case, it was caused by not pointing the patch directly to the game location (I only pointed it to the correct drive). I tried the patch again and it worked. Others have had to reinstall, but everyone has been able to resolve the issue.
