Pending Trades Disappear

I started using the World of Baseball Mod and it's great......Basically I have a 1st Baseman who is pretty good but already have one better that's starting, and he wants to be in the starting lineup. I decided to trade him to another team for a starting prospect. The response was "I'll think about it and get back to you in a few days"

Here's the problem: every time I try this, he NEVER gets back to me. I don't even get a "No." I simmed for WEEKS and still got no response at all. So I try the trade again, move to the pending trades page, and sim one day......immediately it disappears. What's up with this? I do have the latest patch, by the way.

What are the news settings in your manager options page?

Two other questions come to mind. Is this after the trading deadline? Are you using the Act As function to run your team, were you hired? I don't use roster sets, so I don't know if the last question plays into it or not.

I have it set to news from my organization and league and for it to exit autoplay if I get a trade proposal or personal message.

I made my manager and applied to my team. I don't have an "Act As" button in the top right of my screen, so I'm not using that. I don't remember if I was "Hired", but I believe I just made my GM and set my job to GM of the Padres.

This is during the offseason, so yes it is past the trading deadline.
