Crashing when trying to load custom jersey

version: 8.0.0.13
system: xp sp2 3.2 ghz 1gb ram 160gb hd (59gb free)
what happened?- I went into the change colors and logo section of one of my teams in my solo league. (fictional, 24 teams full minors and feeder leagues). I had done this on 3 other teams already using templates for jersey customization found in the mod forum. However, when I went to load new jersey that I just completed for this one team, when it went to generate picture, the game crashed. Now I restarted my game, and when I go to any other team and even to their customize section on their homepage, everything works fine, however, as soon as I go back to that same team I had the problem with before, and try to go to their customize section, it crashes again as it is trying to generate the picture. I can duplicate this everytime. The following is the error that occurs:

I noticed when I went back into my jersey file and looked at the template saved for this particular team, that somehow I screwed up when I was saving it after creating it. I saved it at 1000 x 800 instead of 512 x 512 like the original template. The picture did not fill up the entire space, just the 1st 512 x 512 portion starting in the top left hand corner. Everything else was white. So I loaded a template that was too big for the jersey slot. However, when I went and changed it to regular size and then resaved and erased the other, I am not able to get back to that team to load the corrected version. It still crashes when generating the pictures for this team.

Ok, I tried my corrected version (512 x 512) of the afore mentioned jersey on one of my Japanese league teams, and it loaded smoothly. So I know I have corrected the issue with the jersey. However is there any way to get into the customize logo screen fo the team I screwed up originally? It is still crashing. I even took the jersey file out of the saved games/jersey folder and put in somewhere else on my harddrive, hoping that it would not read it since it is no longer in a ootp folder. But I am at a loss. I can still play the game as long as I dont go to that team and try to customize their uniforms.

I have sent you a private message & also sent a post with the probable solution to your mods thread. Hope that this will solve your problem.

May be you still have a copy of the first (wrong) version of that logo file in the folder your league.lg/news/html/images? OOTP copies the logos into that folder...

I will have a look at this problem and try to fix it for OOTP 9 as well.

Andreas says that he has this fixed for OOTP 9.

Donjamoni, do you have this all figured out now?
