Hall of Fame bug???
This may have existed in previous versions and maybe it's supposed to work this way, and I just never noticed...
* Bobby Matthews pitches 16 seasons for MLB (1871-1886). He jumps to the AA and pitches 3 seasons (1887-1889) before retiring. Here's the issue: His numbers are good enough to get him to the Hall of Fame. He is inducted and appears in both the MLB and the AA Hall of Fame. His numbers in the AA are nowhere near HOF worthy (he only played 3 seasons there); his MLB numbers are fine. I remove him from the AA HOF and it removes him from both. So- is he appearing in the AA HOF because he retired from baseball as an AA player? Or do leagues share the HOF? (I dont think its the last one, as Al Spalding went to the MLB HOF and he doesnt appear in the AA HOF) |

A player inducted to the Hall of Fame will appear in the Hall of Fame for any league that he happened to play in. This is a current system limitation.
Is there anything else that we can help you with? |
