Deleted Original Backup File - New one seems to be goofy

I read the other issue with backups, and felt I needed to start another thread. Probably not a bug, more of a problem for me.

So I put together a huge single player league and backed it up...

I hadn't read everything about making a backup...my fault of course....and had figured that the game would be making new backups each time instead of updating one singular file. Thus, when I went to backup the league for the second time, before I did so I went into the backup folder and deleted the first backup just to keep things clean. Folder was completely emptied.

Obviously, that appears to be a big mistake with regards to the backup file for this league - and I'm kind of afraid to rely on it now and was wondering the best way to proceed.

For when I hit backup for the 2nd time to make what I thought was a brand new folder, it backs it up again just like before, but says that the number of changed or new files is 143, out of a total number of 15789. I had just deleted the entire folder - I was hoping for it to read 15789 of 15789 new files.

It actually appears to have most files, but is missing thousands upon thousands of images that are currently being used in the league and are currently in the main league image's folder.
