Retired Players' Stats Disappeared

I just did a full install to update to the most recent patch. The game appeared to install correctly. My universe appeared to load correctly. All current players have correct career stats and history. However, while looking at my retired players I found that none of them have any stats. Going to the leaderboards show that no one that was not active before this season (or before I turned my game) have any stats. The players exist. Their text history exists. It seems as if my retired players stats database did not load properly. I am afraid to save for fear that I will erase it forever. Is this a known problem?

For some reason when I restarted my league all retired players were loaded. So there is no problem anymore.
