Error on startup

I'm using 9.2.2, when I load the game I receive this message XML passing error Not well-formed ( invalid token ) at line 4937. Everything seems to work, except for the discription of the play by play. I receive # error catagory not found instead. Any ideas on what I did wrong. I have several past OOTP and this is a first. Thanks for any help.

That sounds like a corrupted english.xml file to me. If you do a search on your machine for english.xml and then double click it to open it up in Internet Explorer do you get a similar error message?

Tony, started game again, received the error message, clicked on help, computer froze up. Rebooted, game now plays fine, no error message, play by play works . Thanks for the info, but whatever was missing, rebooting solved the problem. Thanks again
