Crash: using back arrow after told illegal # of players
This is a repeated bug that happened to me in previous OOTP 9 versions and this time I was paying close enough attention to notice what happened. I am now up to date with 9.2.2
It occurs when I begin simming on opening day. Received a text box telling me that my team (human run, fictional league) has an illegal number of players. I click "OK". No problem so far. I had previously been on my home team roster page and so I used the back arrow (upper left of OOTP window) to try to go back to that page. Instead I get an error text box: TEAM_PAGE::TEAM PAGE - unable to read user id from page link When I click "OK" the program crashes. Out of curiosity I got back to the same point in the game and this time made sure I was coming from a different screen. That is, I went to the free agent screen, then began siming openning day, then got the too many players textbox, then hit the arrow to go back to free agent page. This time received error box: LEAGUE_TRANSACTIONS_PAGE::LEAGUE_TRANSACTIONS_PAGE - unable to read user id from page link. This time I hit "Help" and rather than an outright crash, the program froze solid. I can avoid this bug and play the game just fine but thought you'd like to know about it. Thanks so much for your time and effort! P.S. Just to be sure this bug only involved the back arrow, I took the program once again to the same point and, rather than using the back arrow, I went to the Teams drop down menue and went to my team that way. No problem. Last edited by Here24; 11-18-2008 at 07:34 PM. |
