In Game Strategy Not Being Used

When playing games out vs. the AI,I've noticed that they never use any in game strategy at all.Obviously this is a big problem that impacts the integrity of the entire game, please look into this.I'm playing OOTP 9 with the latest patch,9.2.11

You're going to have to give us some examples to go on.

Well what happened was,I was in a tie game in the bottom of the 8th inning,I had a runner on third with one out.I noticed that the AI didn't move the infield in to prevent the run from scoring on a groundball. This led me to believe their may be a problem but alas, when i played my next game, the AI was making adjustments during the game so I guess the wind-up is there's no bug per se' its just bad strategy on the part of the AI(my opinion of course)

I would wonder how you knew if the AI was playing the infield in or not. That's one of my biggest pet peeves is that you don't know for sure what either manager (when you let the AI control your own team) is calling. You can only guess. Unless you've discovered some feature in the game that I haven't seen yet.

Never mind. I haven't actually run the team during individual games in a long time. When you do that, you do get info on what the AI is calling on defense for the other team. So your question makes sense to me now. My problem is that when I allow the AI to manage my team during games, I get no info whatsoever about what either team is calling for plays, so I have no basis on which to fine-tune the team strategies.

Hopefully all these AI issues are going to be looked at in the testing for v10, so until then we'll close this thread as there won't be another patch for v9.
