Releasing Players

I have searched the forum and the manual, and I can't find an answer to this:

I have a couple of minimum salary players (on their final year of contracts) that I want to release at season's end - before their contracts are automatically renewed. Should I release them the day after the season concludes or can I wait until the end of December?

Thank you for your time.

You want to release them right after the season. If you wait past arbitration, then you are on the hook for another year.

bigMatt,

Thank you for the quick response. I'm releasing these guys at season end.
