What superstars switched to or from pitcher early in their career?

I'm doing a hands off sim from 1871 to present with recalc off. Other than changing a modifier in 1871 it has been completely hands off until in 1915 I looked up Babe Ruth and noticed he was a pitcher (with a 10-11 month injury). I switched him to an OF since I thought that wouldn't happen in the game with recalc off (left the injury).

This is the only scenario I would want to intervene and I was wondering if anyone knew a list of the stars who start as a pitcher and got moved to the other side of the ball or vice versa. Again only stars, I'll let Ankiel develop however he develops, but I don't want to lose some of the bigger names to the wrong side of the ball.

Here's a list of players who converted from Pitchers to Hitters. The list has players included from outside of MLB (Japan, Latin America, etc):

Category:Converted from pitching - BR Bullpen

and from Hitters to Pitchers:

Category:Converted to pitching - BR Bullpen
