Open the player profile.

Along the bottom right is an option titled "Pictures". You will see the BB Card option there.

Thanks, i got that far. But its not obvious to me what my next step should be. A window opens that says there are no baseball cards listed. i was expecting to be asked to choose a template or something.

i clicked new and named it for the player but it still didn't seem to do anything. When i clicked open i didn't see what i should be selecting.

When you click New, it should create a new card. If there was already an existing card, then the pictures menu will have a number in brackets beside the BB Card option indicating how many cards there are for that particular player.

You have to import an image first:

Click Import
Navigate to the news/html/images folder in your saved game
Select the player you want to make a card for
Then click New and enter a name if desired

You don't have to import an image file, you can just click on new and it will create a card using the players current picture.

Should it show you the new card in the window? When i did that, i only saw the default picture in the window. i thought maybe a missed a step somewhere.

This was a player from an imported 00TP X file. Maybe 11 didn't recognize that there was already a player pic there?

Did his player picture show up in the player record screen? If it did not, probably the naming of the picture file was not correct or it was not copied during the import?

Also, what are your settings for player pictures? I wouldn't be shocked if that may hold a key to this.

Yes, the picture was on the player card, player profile page.

i did name it for the player, Fritz Adams. Could the space in between have been the problem?

I remember something about the spaces when working on Beta. Try it without a space. Also use lower case.

Actually, you don't need to name it for the player at all. The file name will automatically include the year and player's name. So it's not really needed.

Try using just a single word as the "name". (I always used "test" since I was... testing. ) Technically, you don't even need one.

Same here, I never put anything in that field. Just mentioned the previous because I recalled reading something about it.

Okay, i think i see what happened the baseball cards. i am using an online league file that i imported from OOTP X to OOTP 11.

As a manager i CANNOT create a baseball card. The option is there. i can go thru the steps described in this thread. But the card is not created.

As the commish, i can create a baseball card. And, in my solo league, i can create the card. i've tried a couple of online league files. Maybe someone else can confirm.

I've just tried it with an online league I've loaded into 11 from X and as a GM no I can't create a baseball card - unfortunately I can't check whether it works as commish as they won't give me the password

Oh, my bad. I haven't made one in a while. Glad it is easier to use in the final version.
