historical player uploads

Sent a pm to spritze, but it doesn't appear in my pm folder as sent
so thought i should do this again but put it on the main forums
besides i ansered the question i originally sent
how to upload historical player to a fictional leage...but managed to figure that out
so for fun i loaded hank aaraon 1957 as a test

3 questions now come that you guys can answer for me

1- on the import screen is an unchecked bos

Keep this season's stats in player career stats?
Does this mean it is asking to keep the season in the player stats in the database itself, as if the season could now be called up?
Or does it refer to the game being played itself- ie the fictional season i am playing

I left the box unchecked. auto simulated one season to see what happens

2- Qustion 2 is, on the players "game" batting stats are listed his 1990 fictional results. but i see there are his 1954, 55 and 56 stats. Those came with him into my universe.
Is there any way to start a historical player inn the fictional league without his previous season's history coming with him? So aaron would start his first season with 1957 stats in my 1990 world?

3- Third question comes from this as well. I am now assuming that my Hank Aaron player is now just going to develop in my fictional world based on his potental modifiers that came with the upload. Is there any way that Aaron can also continue just like in a historical league- where the comptuer would next season upload his 58 stats, then 59 stats...or if i wanted to do that is that something i would have to change by hand

Thanks everyone for all of your answers and insights. This really is a great game, but to learn all the little tricks of the trade takes time to customize games to get them to do as much of what you want them to do as the game allows

cheers
H
