Erase league history
I started a historical replay starting in 1919. I erased all history. I was using real transactions, retire according to real life and players miss seasons according to history. Half way through the 1920 season, I went to league history to check the leaderboards. There were 2 pitchers with 100+ wins sitting at the top of the wins category. Other categories had leaders with histories that went further back than 1919 as well. What would cause this? I'm wondering if it has something to do with the players miss seasons according to history.

I noticed that if a player missed the season in which you started your sim, and then shows up the next season, the player will be imported into your league with all of their historical stats included.
For instance, I started a sim in 1901 and erased all historical stats. Beginning in 1902, those players who did not play in 1901 but had played in prior years had those career stats included. To clean it up. I went into the Import/Export stats spreadsheet and deleted any stat lines older than 1901. I had to leave one line for the player with their stats erased but their ID and name left. If I didn't do this and deleted all lines for a player, it wouldn't update the history. |
