Duplicate player bug
I've never encountered this before but read a few posts about it. I started a 1900 historical league where just after going through the creation steps I went in and restructured the teams to suit myself. I then let the inaugural draft proceed and all seemed normal. I played through the 1900 season.
The amateur draft was scheduled for 11/1/1900 and for my first pick I drafted Jim Delahanty. After the draft was completed I went looking through my minors and I found him in my AAA team but his stats were not very good compared to when I drafted him. Doing a little digging I found another Jim Delahanty on my AA team, with the high stats I recalled from the draft. A search reveals... SIX Jim Delahantys! My two, one on a different ML team and three listed with no team. They all have the same birthday. How did this happen and if I recreate my league is there a way to avoid this? |
