Names Question Repeat

I am so sorry, as I know I've asked this before and got an excellent step by step answer, but I can't remember it and I've gone through hundreds of posts and can't find it either, so here goes.

Can someone tell me how, in simple language, to change my names dot text file and/or nations dot text file and/or any other file to significantly reduce the frequency of Hispanic names??

Not a racist, it's just those are the ones that keep repeating more often because there appears to be not as many to choose from.

I had previously downloaded a file from someone here that worked pretty well but I had a computer problem requiring wiping drive and starting over and I don't even remember who I got the file from to ask.

Sorry, memory is getting worse every day.

The easiest solution may be to just go, as commissioner, to your league nation's editor (Explore Game World in your manager's menu) and select, reallocate, or delete languages/names there. For example, I am playing in 1902 currently, so I too did not want as many Hispanic names yet. So I selected U.S. Historical (as opposed to U.S. Modern) and eliminated all other languages, for now. See the screen prints below (from a different league).

The other, harder way is to manually edit the names file itself. This is too long to describe here but the online manual has a good set of instructions. Remember to run the Re-Import Name and Ethnicity Database option on the Global Setup page.

My pleasure. BTW, I am very glad that you stuck around / reappeared. I was 1998 Yankees.
