Historical Facepack (1990s)
I've started what is going to be a long process of putting together facepacks for historical seasons. So far I've got 250 faces of players from the 1990s, including all players that appeared in the All-Star game during that decade and all Hall of Fame players that were playing at the time along with assorted other players. This pack does not include any of the players included in the "Euro & North America Facepack 2012/13" available from Breakaway Forums (so Selanne, Brodeur, Pronger, etc. that have been playing forever are in that pack not mine). I'm hoping to continue on with the next packs likely adding all other players that appeared in about 80 games during the 90s and then moving on to other decades.
I've tried to find photos from relatively early in each players career if that's possible. Some of the photos are not great and I may replace them if I can find anything better. If any of the photos aren't working for some reason (i.e. I got the birthdate wrong) let me know. Preview images: Assorted Faces Goalie Leaders Skater Leaders In-Game Download |

Maybe it would be worth it to merge it with the modern facepack since those two worlds are connecting when you play long enough...

If they're separate users could have a choice, and maybe that would be a good thing, I don't know...does a copy of every pic get saved with every saved game? like with logos? If so, maybe so many pics will take up space/memory to the extent that a user might not want them all in use for every saved game

I agree, that it might be better to keep separate giving the user the choice.
I've never seen so many mullets in one place before ![]()

Lots of mullets and feathered hair - just wait for the mustache explosion coming in the 70's and 80's!
And yes, if you put the photos in the quickstart folders they all get copied to each saved game. I agree that people playing historical games that will hit the late 90s and 2000s are going to want both the historical and modern packs. If somebody wants to start doing megapacks for download I have no problem with these faces being included. |

As historical mode is "NHL only" any pic in a modern pack of a player who has never played an NHL game isn't needed for historical mode...just sayin'

Of course you can say that someone playing in the 50s doesn't need them but then someone playing in 90s doesn't need the players from the 50s so there would need to be too many packs then.

Hopefully you got some real purdy pictures there, because the game is unplayable mostly.
