Who Should I Play With?

Hey everyone! I am somewhat new to OOTP. I got the game a few weeks ago and have been playing around with and talking to some people to get tips. Now that I feel like I have a grasp with the game, I need suggestions/advice on who to start a game with.

Since you are new, I would recommend playing with one of the stronger teams. Choose one of the division winners from 2012:

The reason I am saying this is, the game can get pretty frustrating when you're playing with a loser.

They are not as good in the game as they have played this season.

I enjoy starting with an expansion team. It takes time and patience to build a winner. Very rewarding.

Which team is your favorite? Always great to learn how to play OOTP with a team you like and know who most of the players are.
Do you want and easy team or a challenge?

If your new and wanting to have a relatively easy first few years then I would use the Cardinals or Redsox. Two of the best rosters in baseball that will be on contention. They also have a very good farm system and a decent budget size
