Replay 2012 World Series?

Is it possible in OOTP to replay last year's World Series? That is, can I create a league of 2 teams, the Giants and Tigers, based on 2012 stats, and replay a 7 game series between them?

All my efforts to do so end up frustrated. If I create a Fictional League, I have to have fictional players. If I create a league based on the 2012 major leagues, then I have to have all the teams. I just want to replay the World Series. Is that even possible?

Much easier than it looks. If you don't care for player pictures and ballparks it'd be even faster.
