Possible to End a Season Early?

Can this be done even if the schedule is set for a full season?

Suppose I schedule a 162-game season but I want to simulate the players going on strike in July. Can I put a stop to the entire season and its playoffs by selecting some option or setting? Or do I have to anticipate that the strike will be happening and manually adjust the schedule to accommodate that before the season starts?

I believe you will have to manually adjust the schedule. There's no "everyone went on strike" button.
