Starting historic franchise- 1976 seaso

I was a dedicated DMB player and would re-play every fame of seasons with every team...would take a long time but I just enjoy sitting down and controlling all the teams

Can this be done in OOTP? Can I play every game if I want

I also am a huge minor league baseball fan with a large collection of minor league baseball cards so I would love to have real MILB rosters and eventually add my cards to those players profiles

...is there a way or get correct minor league rosters, team names...

I also saw where u can use baseball ref ID to add players...is there a specific spreadsheet I could take on to do some of these myself and easily add to the game?


Is there a face pack you all recommend for both of these endeavors?

I also notice on the great face packs in the MODS section that people like them to be larger pics...what do people do with those pics? I have read many threads here but after awhile I just can't specifically answer my own questions

You can absolutely play out every game if you want...

Regarding minor-league teams and rosters, OOTP15's announcement included, "Our 2014 roster set includes all Opening Day major league team rosters, as well as the complete minor league system down to the rookie leagues." I believe this has been the case for several recent versions, so minor-league rosters for several recent seasons are likely available, too. It seems, however, that you are starting in 1976. That, I believe, would require considerable manual work... Others will likely have more info on this.

Yes, you can add players manually, if you'd like. The master.csv file that comes with the game might be a good place to start if you are looking for a spreadsheet.

Re facepacks, others will know more, but you might want to look around in this sub-forum - OOTP Mods - Rosters, Photos, and Quick-Starts - OOTP Developments Forums - and also look into the All-In-One Mod (http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...e-mlb-mod.html).

As for the best stadium download, that depends upon what you are looking for (real pics vs non-pic images; if you want park factors included...). Maybe start here: Ballparks | OOTPMODS.COM

I don't have the game in front of me right now but I'm pretty sure you would find in a path that is something like this: My Documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP15/stats... Something like that.

Make a copy of it and/or save it as an Excel file so you don't accidentally make any changes to the original.
