Amateur League creation

I want to replicate one of the leagues we have here in Argentina. The Baseball League from Buenos Aires. It's amateur. Players don't earn a salary. Is it possible to have one league like that? No Free Agency and no owners. Just sports clubs that have a baseball team, very similar to the 1860's National Association of Base Ball Players.

This league has only 8 teams, and season is 14 games long.

1 home and one away against each and it's only played on Sundays. I know if I play with the schedule editor I can achieve something similar. Is there any tip I may get from you to create it?

Should be easy enough.

Turn finances off, don't use coaches if you don't want a staff. I think every team will still have an owner, but with all the finances off it shouldn't matter much. Also, now with the option to disable free agents generating right after the season ends, you don't have to worry about new players.

I don't know much about schedules, but that one should be easy to create. Look at one of the short schedules in the forum and use it as reference. You'd need an XML editor like Notepad++. It's what I usually use, plus it's free.

Oh, thanks. I was thinking about putting zeroes all over the place when creating the league. turning the finances off should be much more easier.
