Different Start Date?

Is there a way to start the sim on a different date? As in, when I start, I don't want to start one day before Opening Day.

Not the MLB Quickstart directly.

You would have to start a new game and import the teams from the Quickstart.....it will work, but you will lose the real prospects in the upcoming drafts.....

If I just start a new game and do a fantasy draft like I did, if I want to use the MLB teams do I have to have the 2 games in Australia like they did with the Dodgers and Dbacks or can I eliminate those and have a brand new schedule?? I'm hoping to have a different schedule instead of starting off a week before opening day with those two games. Thanks in advance!! :-)

It's here:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ng-series.html
You can get the quickstart date to be something else if you want.
1. Create a template of anything with the start date you want to use. One fictional league with only 2 teams works well.
2. Create a template of the quickstart.
3. Create a new game and load template 1(fictional) first and then import template 2 (quickstart)
The game will now start with the date you set in template 1.
4. It's now safe to delete the fictional league if one wants.
That's how I got my ncaa and 2013 MLB in ootp 14 to start on Jan. 1 2013 So that my ncaa lg. could start in Feb. 2013 rather than the default quickstart date of March.
