Manually Enter a Result?

Question:

I was playing the 4th game of my season as the 2014 Chicago Cubs, so I want to take every win I can get. Jason Hammel threw 7 beautiful innings allowing only a solo HR to Jimmy Rollins in the 4th inning, Mike Olt and Anthony Rizzo both had 2-run doubles, and I was winning 4-1 heading into the 8th when the game crashed. I was wondering if there was any way to manually enter results so that I can get back to that point and continue the game or if I just have to accept the fate and likely lose another one.

You can't. You would have to play out or sim the game all over again.
