Longest game I've seen in OOTP so far

Admittedly, it's not as many as some people have had, but it's the most I've seen:

I'm Bristol, and for the record, Cumberland is a 1B / OF and Pantall would have been the following day's starter. The AI perhaps left Croft in too long, but he was their last bullpen guy, so I can't really complain.

That's crazy, 13-6 in the last 3 innings!

Pretty sure you're looking at the season RBI field, not game.

I think by that point the pitching was getting somewhat poor lol.

That is some extra innings offense. We those position players pitching or just tired regulars?

No arguing that. I was so excited by the tail of this game that I left my brain idling while I did a one man Chinese fire drill.

Only 17 innings, but there's some story behind it.

I went to Strasburg, who had started 3 days earlier, so that I would have a couple days to figure out reshuffling my rotation. I figured he'd be able to be dominant in a short stint out of the pen, but it did not go well. By the end of the year this one relief appearance brought his ERA up to 2.05 from 1.87 as a starter.

Cumberland was the only position player to pitch, I went to him before using my next days starter. The AI kept their last guy (Croft) in for 88 pitches.

19 innings here. Thought I had a longer one in a previous season but can't say for sure.

Bumping this because I just beat my own record. No position players pitched this time:

Some crazy long games! In iOOTP I had a 19 inning game, I think my longest on OOTP is 13-14...

By the way, I love that Corporate league setup with the Dr. Pepper. That is awesome :P

so this just happened!!

- 24 freaking innings!
- down 4-1 in bottom of 9th, all 4 runs unearned
- score 3 runs in bottom of 9th on a bases clearing 2B to tie the game
- then 14 straight shutout innings
- give up a run in top of 24th
- bottom of 24th I score 2 to win including a 6-2 fielders choice ATTEMPT play at the plate, does work, runner safe, game over
- And this extended my win streak to 15 in a row too!

and possibly the greatest single game any batter has ever had, Yadier Molina went 8-10, 2 double, 6 singles, 2 RBIs and only 1 run scored!

plus I traded my 2nd overall selection (plus 2 other specs), a 4.0 star 19 SP and for the 1st overall selection who is a 4.0 star CF who's 2.0 star developed already. He signed with the Sox and immediately traded for him and called him up and he went 0-10 with 5 K's!! What a way to start your career!! Hittless in 10 ABs, strikeout 5x and play 24 innings!

You can't make this stuff up, I love this game!

That's what I'm talking about. If it isn't at least 20 innings, it isn't really EXTRA innings.

I saw a 27 inning game...and in the league championship nevertheless. I find it shocking that after all these innings played, Lincoln scored two runs and still lost.

I think I still have the box score somewhere, but this league is really old now.

I had a 30 inning game(NABL Portland vs Sacramento) the other day. Me,being a nice guy, then scheduled both teams to play double headers the next day and then one of the teams had a 14 inning game the following day.

Sounds like you ruined a few pitchers careers.
