Competition
Stupid Question: What does the Competition Tab in the roster mean? Mine is empty so I was wondering...

Not a stupid question at all. I had to go look to find out but it sounded familiar and my guess was correct.
You know how, when you look at draft pool players, the game will rate the quality of competition so that you can judge players' HS and COL stats? So, if you see some guy hit .400 in college but you see the competition level was "Poor" in his league, you may say "big deal" instead of salivating. Or conversely, if you see a guy hit .295 in a HS or COL league with "Great" competition, you may sit up and take notice. See first screen print. If you customize your view of the draft pool and select Competition as one of the columns, you will see that every player has this rating because all of them have HS or COL experience. See second screen print. However, depending on how your league was initially set up, some of your existing players may have no HS or COL experience on record. These players will be blank as to Competition. See third screen print.

One last question, does the competition rating come into play anywhere else? Can you, for instance, compare AAA and AA competitions?
Thanks |
