Online league play that allows single game management

Is this possible? Is it something that is being considered for future development? I'd like to have the option to play online leagues head to head against someone, where each person manages a game batter by batter.

I don't play with iOOTP so I cannot speak with authority but I can guess with reasonable assurance that this is not yet possible. However, even so, I would be very surprised if OOTP developers have not thought of this possibility yet. Look for new version suggestion threads in these forums and record your vote!

Head-to-head play has been on the community wish list for probably a decade, if not longer. While it may show up at some point, I wouldn't hold my breath.

OOTP is now on Steam, and Steam is famous for promoting multiplayer online games. My hope for the future is that OOTP and Steam get together to set this up, similar to the way it has been set up for so many other games.

Thank you for the responses. I've bought several versions of OOTP, the last being OOTP 13. While I've never dabbled with online leagues, I find myself wanting to be able to do this now. Yet, the inability to actually play out the games is a major problem for me. Why wouldn't I want to be able to go head to head, particularly in the playoffs or other critical games.

OOTP is so incredibly deep already...I hope this feature gets added.
