Can't get out of catcher view on field

I'm not new to the game but I think I've finally decided that at least for me and my pc 3D doesn't work well.

At any rate during a try again at 3D I saw the little down arrow in the top left of the field pic and clicked it and then I clicked catcher view (or whatever it said).

Got a blur on the playing field with a variety of colors but no field.

I turned off all the 3D stuff I could find but when I go back to a normal looking non-3D field I still get the 'catcher' view and there is no drop down arrow in the the left to get out of it.

Any help to getting a regular screen would be appreciated. I'm done with 3D stuff.
