Online Game Season 2

Hello, I'm looking for some help. I'm in a league (currently MLB level only) that is looking at adding a minor league feeder team for Season 2 and on. We have figured out how to add the league but no matter what minor league level the talent in it is absolutely terrible. After that I tried creating a separate league to see what the talent level is and it is much better.

Is there anyway for us to add a reasonable talent level minor league system into an existing league?

Well, you have a few options. The quality of the minor league is primarily based upon the Sabermetric Player Creation Modifiers that can be found in the League Settings. Increasing these values will likely increase the abilities of the players generated.

Alternately, you can delete the players that were generated, and then create new fictional players yourself in the Free Agents screen, which gives you a number of options for what level skill to create. Or you could leave the players that were generated and ADDITIONALLY create some new, more skilled FAs and dole them out to the teams or hold a mini-draft or something.

However, personally I would urge you to start with the way it is. Markus designed the game so that situations like adding a minor league wouldn't suddenly unbalance things. Over time, as you hold amateur drafts, find international players, etc., you will infuse your minor leagues with more talent.

How are you going to feel if the game suddenly generates several 5-star potential players on your opponent's minor league team?

Additionally, don't get stressed out about stars. Remember, you haven't seen any of these players perform yet. Some may outperform their ratings, some may develop into better players, etc.

Hope this helps!
