Suggestion: 9th Inning Crowd

Name says it all. Normally, fans are cheering like crazy the whole time in the 9th inning of a close game. Especially if the home team has the lead. In that case the fans will be on their feet cheering loudly for all 3 outs.

See the situation below that made me think of this. (Keep in mind that I have about 20 rally/walk-up sound mods). The walk-up/rally sound files played correctly so I know that they are triggering but once they were completed all I had was the general murmur.

Given the situation below the place would be a mad-house with the clean-up hitter at the plate.

Agreed! Also, when the home team has the visitors down to their final strike in the 9th/extras, it usually has the crowd up on their feet.

You're the 2nd person to ask me in as many days. Tomorrow morning I'll post a screenshot-by-screenshot how-to in the mods forum.

I don't usually play with sound myself... but I still have to second this. Love that guy.

It sounds exactly like my dad when he's yelling at referees/umpires at games.

Did Markus acquire recordings from Tiger games (Regular or Spring Training)? If so, I'd be willing to bet it's him!

You know, the flip-side of this is, for a team in last place and losing a blow-out game in the bottom of the 9th, there shouldn't even be a crowd "murmur" with only a few hundred (dozen?) fans left in the ballpark. Maybe an occasional seagull squawk or a jet plane flying overhead.

C'mon now, where's that never say die attitude ? for those circumstances how about the sound of three people clapping?

Ideally, crowd volume would be correlated to correlated to attendance multiplied by leverage index, where the crowd gets pumped up for critical situations (e.g. bases loaded, late innings, 1 out, down by 2) and dies out during low leverage situations (e.g. blowout)
