MLB Quckstart?
I am planning on starting with the MLB Quickstart. Is it possible to eventually expand to 48 teams with 8 6-team divisions? Or would I need to stop at 36 teams? If it is possible, would I face problems with the league history if I had teams change divisions in order to prevent too many expansion teams all at once? Also, when exactly is the best time for expansion or alteration to league rules and structure?

Should be able to, it will take alot of space on the HD and I am assuming you will use full minors too? Expand when you want, I like the 10 to 12 years spacing per 2 teams. But play as you want. And you should be able to move teams with no issues.

Best time for expansion is after the playoffs. If you use FA the game will schedule the draft for the day after FAs hit the market so no worries on setting anything there. Structure you can change anytime after the offseason. Some rules can be changed at will, while some require you to be in the Preseason first.
