Hall of Fame: All baseball cards

So I downloaded the All In One which includes all the bb card templates by year. I started a new standard league with the current rosters. Now my hall of fame is filled with baseball cards I guess from each year the person was inducted? Looks odd. I would prefer the plaques I saw in the screenshots. Is the hall of fame supposed to be all baseball cards?

I haven't downloaded it yet but I suspect that perhaps the HOF plaque uses the same template name as the BB cards so perhaps you've overwritten them by installing all the BB cards templates?

To use that file, delete all the "hof" files in your bbcard folder. Then use these files. I think you'll get your original HOF plaques.

Thanks for the help, but no good. If you put in the yearly card templates for some reason ootp uses each year's template when generating the hall of fame pictures. I kept the original hof files but ootp doesn't use them if it sees the yearly ones in there too.

Delete all the hof_*.xml files in the directory except the hof.xml file. It will use that because it doesn't have another file to use.

The "hof" files -- all of them -- must be removed or deleted. Then put the original files (in the zip file) in their proper places.

Alternate method delete all those hof.xml files and rename the one you want to use hof_1876-2015.xml

I'm pretty sure I left the hof.xml as the plaque card.

I actually stumbled on this during the beta so it should still work. Keep baseball cards off but turn it in when you want to look at the hall of gamers and it will generate them. No matter when you do it it will still use the card defined for that specific year they were elected (or the plaque). Then turn it off again.

Maybe that's something that could be added in next year's version (or even in a patch for this year's): separate checkboxes for HOF plaques and "regular" baseball cards.

I wouldn't be shocked if we saw more implementation and more options for baseball cards in future versions.

I had the same problem as the OP and followed both sets of instructions, erasing all the hof xml templates. installing the original back in and putting the images in the image folder. no dice. it is still loading the wrong cards. not the biggest of deals, but just wanted to say the instructions for some reason are not working for me either. I have a mac, so maybe it is an issue because of that? who knows. edit: once new people are entered into the HoF the pics change to the proper plaques. If it's a Mac it may be a different scenario. I'm not sure how the file system works. If the hof.xmls exist they need to be deleted. Maybe a Mac user can give you a better answer.

The plaques were certainly a great addition. Have to give an extra thanks to DCHepler25 for graciously donating them. We can certainly in the future look to add more options for cards, which will almost certainly split out the option to allow HOF "cards" separately from the regular cards. But don't expect that in until at least the summer |

In order to "fix" your hall of fame cards you may need to go into your saved_games folder, then navigate to the league you want and delete the old ones from the "hof" folder. The game will now generate new cards/plaques when you go to the hall of fame page the next time. Here is the path... saved_games-->your league-->news-->html-->images-->hof

Your solutions (both to revert the hof*.xml templates to the original, and to delete old bbcards in the save game folder) work. Thanks!

Question: I completed my first season and two players were inducted to the HOF. How would I follow the steps above while still keeping those two players' plaques there, or am I out of luck?
