Prospects busting

Certain teams in our leagues have prospect after prospect bust. Literally haven't had home grown talent in a few seasons make it to the majors. They make a few trades and have 2 or 3 top 100 prospects, by the end of the season they have 0 and the guys are basically career minor leaguers.

Some franchises just cursed? Or is there a way to change this at all?

Sounds pretty realistic.

Forget the exact numbers, but there's typically a 70%+ chance that any given top 100 prospect will have less than 5WAR in their career.

Most top prospects bust, that's just the nature of things.

Jack up your development budget as high as you can, pick guys with good work ethic and intelligence, and sacrifice a chicken to the ghost of Ty Cobb.
