OOTP to be acquired by Sony, and then force merged with MLB: The Show to create an excellent baseball simulation with outstanding graphics.

No one is buying OOTP this year.
But this is the last version because Markus gets offered a job with the Phillies. He becomes the first European GM to win the WS. In a weird movie all 30 major league teams move to Europe and the MLB in America shuts down. America adopts 'soccer' as it's favorite sport. Brad Pitt(Kevin Costner was interested in the role) plays Markus in the movie adaptation of his life. Markus, Andreas and the rest of the OOTP decide to make a game about fly fishing and it becomes another huge hit for them. |

I reliable source tells me that the augmented reality version for Microsoft's HoloLens is coming out early next year. He quoted Markus as saying, "We wanted to create a version of the game that could be played anywhere, at the dinner table and even while driving. The heads up augmented realty version of OOTP will give you just that. And it is happening. The beta version will be out for testing in November with a planned March 2016 release date."

Curt Schilling announces on second thought Earl Weaver Baseball was the best baseball game I ever played but OOTP is a second ballot Hall of Famer.

Sports Interactive buys OOTP and plans to merge it with Football Manager. The new game will be basefootball. Teams must kick the ball around the bases before going for goal. The goalie will now be equipped with a baseball bat in which he can swing at the incoming ball.
SI also intends to integrate franchise hockey manager with a new game soccer on ice. Hahaa Messi you looked like Charlie Brown slipping on the ice while trying to kick the ball. |

My 4/1 vision is that the MLB buys a half interest in the game for a hundred million dollars and publicizes OOTP during televised baseball games and that the game proceeds to sell millions and millions of copies worldwide.
