Is this supposed to happen?
I hit literally the first day of free agency in my Rangers game, and the White Sox signed a guy out of Japan on the first day before I would have had any opportunity to offer a contract.
Now, I can "story" it to be that they had a gentlemen's agreement prior to the official start of FA, but this can't really be intended behavior, can it? Edit: My mistake. *** free agency started 2 weeks prior to MLB and I didn't notice since I was just paying attention to MLB. Lesson learned. I don't think I can delete this thread, can a mod please lock/delete it? Last edited by olivertheorem; 05-04-2015 at 10:40 PM. |

It happens and has been happening since at least since 14. I first noticed it then. It's kind of annoying but at the same time it doesn't bother me. In my current game 5-6 players will be signed on FA day before I even have a chance to look at the pool.

Well, in this case he became an FA from *** prior to MLB free agency, so they probably offered before MLB free agency started and he just accepted on the same day.
