Lineups based on potential

I have forgotten what screen this is on and cant seem to find it. How to I get the minor league managers to set lineups based on potential?

Game Setting/Stats & AI/General AI Roster Settings. I believe it's only available for the minor leagues though.

Did you change your league to one of your minor leagues? If you leave it on your ML team it will not display. You have to select it for each minor league. For example, I set my AAA & AA club to current and the remainder to be based on potential.

it is. I don't know why potential is not at default. It's tedious to change that for all my minor leagues. I do leave it at current ability for AAA.

It's default for all minor leagues for the MLB setup with real players, at least it is in my game.

oh ok, well i play mostly fictional and it is very annoying having to change it all the time

No. I didn't realize that's what you meant - only for minor leagues. I thought you meant it only affects minor leagues.

It's there for the minor leagues. All of my minors were already set for use potential for lineups.

does that option require commish mode? just in case that is part of miscommunication. i don't have the game here.
