What did I do wrong????

For some reason I keep getting messages about "so an so" on my minor league team is ready to come off the DL. Not sure what I clicked but I don't want any minor league messages to stop my sim.

Never had this happen before so what did I do?

Are you on the latest patch?

Are you in the offseason?

OK that's a different issue than what I thought.

Did you check these settings? Not sure if something's wrong there but worth a look.

I checked it. I have the "notify of minor league injuries" unchecked. I have checked "when a player is eligible to come off the dl" but I never use to get these messages from minor league teams.

Yes, it used to be that you would get one notification on the day the player is eligible to come off the DL, and none on subsequent days if you don't activate him. Now, if you don't remove that player, you get it daily.

It's a little annoying for the suspended players you edit to be able to put on the DL (I have a guy suspended for 50 games who is "eligible" according to the game), but I think it's a nice change in case you have a bunch of moves to make and forget to activate a guy from the DL.

This started happening after one of the patches/updates. I fixed it by manager settings and clicking on let minor league manager control it's part.

I get the message daily even if the player has DL time left. Happened after I updated to 16 from 15. I basically had to remove every player off the DL, even if they were still injured, in order to continue.

Is this happening to you in the postseason? I had this problem with one of the short-lived patches from a month or so ago. With the latest patch, it only happens to me with uninjured players who are eligible to be activated. I have numerous minor leaguers whose seven days are up but have months of injury left and I do not get notifications about them.

There were some bugs in previous patches where you would get notified daily for guys who you shouldn't have needed to, because we were checking a wrong flag internally. But currently you should not get notified about players coming off the DL except for the off-season, or if they have no DL time left and are not injured.

Currently, as of the most recent patch, the most noticeable change was that (inadvertently) you will now get notified of minor league players eligible to come off the DL as long as you control minor league promotion/demotion, as opposed to previously where you would only get notified if you controlled promotion and minor league lineups.

We'll think about what combination of flags and settings makes sense to make sure that you get notifications when you want, and not for guys that you don't care about.

Correct. It happened in November, and seemed random. One day it would tell me so and so can't be on the DL in the offseason and would not let me advance the day until it was so. Then I'd advance the day, then get the error for someone else. It was odd that it happened over the course of a few game days and not all in one day. All the players were legit DL guys with time left. Eventually, I couldn't have anyone on the DL. I haven't tried to add them back on the DL, though.

The DL is not available in the offseason. This was changed in the most recent major patch, and it reflects real life. So even if a guy has nine more months of being injured, he cannot be on the DL in the offseason.

Interesting, I did not know that. Does 16 normally just remove them all from the DL when the offseason starts, or does it need to be done manually by the user?
