AI Player Evaluation and Trades

OOTP gurus, I could use your help in understanding how the AI evaluates current and potential ratings.

1. My understanding is that if you turn on "Overall ratings based on AI evaluation, not pure ratings" and the associated splits, this will only affect current rating Since it does not affect potential, does the AI has a "true" knowledge of potential or is that still affected by their scouting director and/or the scouting accuracy setting?

2. Under Front Office - Player Development, how are the current and potential ratings calculated?. Ranked by current ratings seems somewhat based on my scout's current ratings, but discrepancies do often occur especially for pitching. For ranked by potential, it's completely different than that off my scout's. Is this ranked by "true" potential?

3. Do the AI (including own team if GM only) managers use their respective team scout's evaluations when deciding the lineup?
